In this series of messages we consider Romans 12 and how we serve the Lord in the corporate setting of Pine Island Bible Church as well as individually in our personal lives. We must worship God in the way that is according to His Word.

Romans 12:1 – “Our ATTITUDE of SURRENDER in Serving the LORD” – Outline (pdf) – In this message we begin looking at Romans 12 and our individual roles in the lives of each other in the church body.  The goal is to see our need to surrender our “self” in worship to the Lord.  Our “self” often hinders us when we are active in each other’s lives.  We need to be conscious of our selfish propensity and in turn intentionally seek to live a self-LESS life of love toward each other before God.

Romans 12:2 – “Our ATTITUDE of TRANSFORMATION in Serving the LORD” – Outline (pdf) – In this message we continue to look at our attitudes of worship in serving the Lord.  As Christians, we must be instruments of change seeing our own need to be constantly transformed more into the image of Christ.  As we change and reflect Christ more, we can then be an instrument of change helping others to be transformed into the image of Christ.

Romans 12:3-5 – “Our ATTITUDE of HUMILITY and UNITY in Serving the LORD” – Outline (pdf) – In this message we continue to look at our attitudes of worship in serving the Lord.  As followers of Jesus Christ, we must be humble in our serving Him. There is a vital connection between our humility and unity.  Without humility there can be no unity.
