PIBC Mission

Here at Pine Island Bible Church our MISSION is to SUPREMELY love God, SACRIFICIALLY love others, ALL to the glory of God. Below you will find the messages in which we explain our MISSION. On this page you will also find the messages on Communion and on our “What’s My Next Step” (coming soon) questions that we encourage be asked in order to help implement the message we just heard. MISSION: Matthew 5:16 – “Our Walk with Purpose—GLORIFY (Part 1)  Outline (pdf) – In this message, we consider part one of our walk with purpose as we look our church mission statement, “Supremely love God, sacrificially love others, all to the glory of God.” This message focuses on our mission to glorify God. MISSION: Matthew 22:37-38 – “Our Walk with Purpose—GROW (Part 2) Outline (pdf) – In this message, we consider part two of our walk with purpose as we look our church mission statement, “Supremely love God, sacrificially love others, all to the glory of God.” This message focuses on our vision seeking to glorify God as we grow, as disciples, in His grace and in the knowledge of His Son, thus growing in our love for God. MISSION: Galatians 5:13-14 – “Our Walk as Servants  Outline (pdf) –  In this message, we consider our walk as servants. God has called each of us to a life of service whereby we serve Him as we serve others. This message challenges us to consider our choice of masters as displayed in our attitudes and actions. COMMUNION: 1 Corinthians 11:23-32 – “Our Walk in Communion Outline (pdf) – In this message, we consider our walk in communion from 1 Corinthians 11. From this passage we consider the institution of the Lord’s Supper along with the irreverence that often surrounds it, followed by the inspection that coincides with our participation.
